Our little furry kids are always in need of a few more bowls for their food and water. So instead of buying those expensive designer bowls I decided to get the cheap funky ones this time around and dress them up myself. So off to Crazy store I went and got some cheap bowls and added a Silhouette vinyl cut to them.

• Step 1

  Type the text you want and then change the font.



• Step 2

  Add your little doggy image.



• Step 3

  Change the cut setting to ‘vinyl’. Remember to change the rollers on your Silhouette to feed your vinyl into your machine.



• Step 4

  Cut your vinyl. Weed the vinyl around the image and wording.



• Step 5

  Add some transfer tape to the wording and pull it off from the backing.



• Step 6

  Place the vinyl in position on the rim of the bowl and burnish the vinyl.



• Step 7

  Carefully pull off the transfer tape. Make sure that the vinyl stays behind, or you need to burnish the lettering some more.

This Silhouette Vinyl Cut is such a quick and easy way to dress up an inexpensive bowl to spoil the furry children with.

 
PS: No dogs were harmed in taking these photos. But they were slightly confused by the fact the bowl read water and it had crunchies in it. Well, I needed an extra water bowl but the water in the clear bowl was a bit freaky to photograph.
