What better way to celebrate all the Dads with memories captured on a beautiful layout. It is something that will capture his personality and show him just how much you love him. And best of all it will be a memory that can be relived again and again.
For this single page layout {perfect for a front page} I used the beautiful Mr Smith’s workshop patterned paper and matching embellishments. This is such a versatile range of papers that can be used for cards, layouts and mixed media projects with a true macho feel.
For my background I used the fabulous brickwork background stamp, stamped in grey ink and then added colour using my set of Prima watercolours. I love how the water colour paint can be used to give a light colour wash mimicking the look of a brick wall with plaster peeling off and exposing the brick.
For my title I used my Silhouette to cut my title out of black cardstock. I used one of my bought fonts to create the title myself – making it truly unique. I love how simple the Silhouette machine makes it for you to customise your crafting projects.
To mimic the metal look of my metal embellishments and brads I used a star stamp and embossed the stars in gold embossing powder, cut them out, inked the edges and then adhered them scattered across my layout for a nice finishing touch.
Find inspiration for the guy and Dad in your life in the beautiful Mr Smith’s Workshop paper pack and celebrate this Father’s Day in style!
