Little Birdie Floral Inspiration Layout

When inspiration hits it comes from obvious places, but sometimes also the not so obvious places. For this layout I was inspired to use a variety of blue, grey and brown flowers to soften up the many straight lines. But if you thought my only inspiration was the pretty NEW Little Birdie blooms from The Wholesaler you are wrong. My layout inspiration started with a large floral stamp used for my background.

Little Birdie Floral Inspiration - Beautiful Layout

From there I combined the beautiful new blooms to support the floral theme on the background. These little flowers are perfect for adding texture and colour to any project. Grouped together using different sized blooms, different colours and shapes you can create a beautiful grouping giving your layout the perfect amount of softness and dimension.

To create my background I stamped the flower image using my Memento ink pads to macth the colours of my flowers, as well as yellow used as my accent colour.

  • Step 8

Clean the stamp using a stamp cleaner. Then ink one of the flowers using the blue ink and the green for the stems and leaves. Mist again with water and stamp the two single flowers again on either side of the large yellow flower.

Complete your layout and then add the flowers scattered across the layout. Combine different colours and sized flowers together for a fun look. Finish off your layout with a title cut on your silhouette and other embellishments.

I am in love with these dainty little flowers and look forward to using them on loads more projects, cards and layouts. I hope that this Little Birdie floral inspiration layout has inspired you to create!
