It’s that time of the year when we start wrapping gifts and placing them under the tree. This year I have been seeing all kinds of colour themes and schemes in shop windows, decorations, colour forecasts and fashion. Its summer in South Africa so the festive season means lots of bright colours, festive glitter combinations and lots of different tones.
So I am happy to include the Graphic 45 designs into my festive preparations – and the Nutcracker Sweet range is perfect! It’s fun and vibrant with lots of details to keep little hands and eyes busy for hours. I am using the range to create lots of small gift tags and wrap stocking fillers in – it’s going to be a beautiful and bright happy season!
Gift Wrapping
With the bold and beautiful pattern designs on the Graphic 45 range of papers I immediately thought of wrapping gifts in it. I used the patterned papers as gift wrapping on small gifts – the paper is strong and makes for a good quality wrapping paper. I used double sided tape as my adhesive – the new way of wrapping gifts to not see the ugly sticky tape.
Gift Tags
The matching nutcracker sheets of tags and stickers are perfect for making small gift tags. Cut different elements out of the patterned papers and raise them using foam dots. For added shine cover the cut-out elements in glitter glue. This is an easy activity for the kids to make their own gift tags and keep them busy during the festive season – and they simply love using glitter glue.
