We already know that you can use Cricut Heat Transfer Vinyl or Iron-On Vinyl on regular paper and cardstock, right? But what about paper serviettes for a special occasion?
Well of course you can.
How to:
I needed some serviettes for a special occasion but I didn’t want to blow the budget. So, I cut some fun rose gold, iron-on diamond shapes and words on my Cricut Maker and ironed them onto plain white cocktail serviettes. In a few minutes, I had the perfect set of serviettes in a variety of designs – the perfect finishing touch to a special occasion.
Step 1
I found the diamond design in Design Space and customized it a bit. Then cut the designs and words out of rose gold iron-on vinyl.
Step 2
Weed the designs using your Cricut Weeding Tool.
Step 3
Position the weeded image onto your serviettes and iron in place. You only need a few short seconds for it to bond onto the serviette.
Best of all, is that I could use all my scrap little pieces of iron-on for this project. At the end of the day the project cost me the price of the serviettes and a few minutes using my machine and ironing – well worth it I would say!
