With the new Card and envelope sets from Couture Creations making cards is such a breeze. Not only do you have loads of envelopes that match the cards perfectly, the cards are already scored for you so folding them is so easy.

The cream and white cards make it easy to choose which of the two will match your planned project best. For this project I chose the cream cards because they matched the Vintage Rose patterned papers perfectly.

I combined the card with the Nesting die Diamond set to create some quick and easy cards.

• Step 1

  Select your cards and fold them in half. Add some random ink splatters to the background for effect.



• Step 2

  Die cut a selection of Vintage Rose diamonds using 2 or 3 different sizes of the dies. Ink the edges of the cut diamonds.



• Step 3

  Use the bonus die included in the diamond set and cut 3 additional small dies using brown cardstock.



• Step 4

  Adhere one of the decorative dies in brown cardstock to the back of the envelope as decoration. Add a diamanté to the centre as a finishing touch.



• Step 5

  Adhere the diamonds cuts from the bottom upwards on the front of your card. TIP: before adhering elements to your card, make sure that the card opens the right way around.



• Step 6

  Continue adhering the diamonds until you are happy with the look. Adhere the bonus die cut element and add a fun rub-on and some diamonds as finishing touches to your card.

And there you have it – a quick and easy card using nothing cut die cuts and some pretty paper. The nice thing is that with a simple design like this and a few dies you can mass produce a set of cards and use it as a personalized gift idea. Package it in a nice box and you are good to go.
