Working Man Paper Pack

I am a little late to the Working Man Party with this gorgeous range from Celebr8, but I am still loving it. It’s not often that we find stunning paper that can be used for men, boys, sports and all kinds of memories involving machinery. Which of course makes this range so versatile with longevity.

I created this layout by cutting out elements from the paper, and simply arranging them down the left edge of the background. I started off with the ruler strip and built on top of that. Notice how this cut out element creates a natural photo corner – a stunning effect by simply letting your element overlap your photo.

Some elements were adhered flat using Tombow and other raised using foam tape.

I love adding words to my pages, small and subtle but meaningful and placed with a purpose on my pages. Nothing is done just because I need to fill an empty space.

You can achieve stunning effects by cutting out elements and layering them on top of each other. Not all things have to be used for the intended purpose. And don’t be afraid of using elements that may be considered too girly. Used in the right way diamonds and thread can be just as manly.

Can you tell I was excited to use some brads from my stash – nothing beats using those old brads on boy pages – they are the perfect platform for using older elements. And the best part is thy don’t look old.

The key to creating with this range – just have fun and play. Cut out layer and then add some more layers using all those stunning designs. Words, tags and cogs – what a winning combination for a stunning range.
