Traditional Scrapping Combined With Project Life

What I love most about Project Life is that it can be anything I want it to be. I can never see it replacing my traditional scrapping totally – but I really love the concept. Instead of dismissing the whole idea of quick and easy scrapping, I have taken the stand of combining my traditional scrapping with the Project Life concept.

Project Life - Week 32

I can still add my style to the pocket style scrapping, use my embellishments, buttons and stamping as I normally do – but in a quick and much simpler way.

Project Life - Week 32 - Pocket Page

The fact that I am not that keen on single page scrapping and I have found the perfect medium of how I can incorporate single pages into my albums in a way that I love at the same time is a bonus.
For my week 32 Project Life entry I used the beautiful Midnight Kit from Project Life. To add some colour to my page in selected areas I used a few Simple Stories stickers and buttons. I stuck to my traditional style and included some stamping onto my photos, rub-ons, washi tape, buttons, pearls and diamonds – keeping to my style and what I like but using it to document a week in my life.

Stamping onto your photos

Project Life - Week 32 - Stamping on Photos

I love stamping onto my photos. Brilliance ink is made especially for this purpose as the ink dries instantly onto both matt and glossy photo paper. This is such an easy way to add detail to what may otherwise be an empty space. I especially love using the Platinum Planet colour (silver) for stamping onto darker photos and Lightning Black (golden black) for stamping onto lighter coloured photos.

Try this quick and easy way of adding interest to your photos.
