Once stencil 3 looks. Do you ever think how versatile the things are in your stash? I often do – and it is almost always the prerequisite for purchasing something. Today I am sharing how you can use 1 stencil and change the look to have very different effects.

I used this beautiful Christmas Tree stencil to create some quick Christmas Cards – using the same stencil but achieving a slightly different look with each card.

For these cards I used my stencil, Anna Griffin Embossing Paste and All-Purpose Ink to colour the paste.

For this card I coloured my embossing paste with green All-Purpose Ink and applied it through the stencil. Once dry, I added holly leaves and berries. The embellishments made this card striking with a single element and a quick sentiment.

Same stencil and using the same green coloured embossing paste. Reposition the stencil on top of the dry embossing paste and apply some purple embossing paste through the star portion only. Colourful diamante added to the tree in various colours makes for a nice finishing touch.

Red coloured embossing paste applied through the tree stencil makes up the next card. Once the embossing paste was dry I used a jumbo sponge dauber and Memento LUXE Ink and blended the top edge of my card in green ink. A few ink splats, washi tape and diamante finishes off the card beautiful and simply.

In a matter of minutes, I could create a few quick and easy Christmas cards using the same products, yet achieve some different finishing touches.

 

And that’s how easy it is to really get as much as possible out of your tools and products in your stash.
