Welcome to the first of a series of articles showing you how you can use one single stamp to create various effects – one stamp many ways.
I love buying stamps! Enough said! I don’t always utilise them as best as I could or for that matter should, so what better way than to inspire you and myself to use our stamps more often and in various creative ways.
This week I am using my 49 and Market Dandelions stamp set to create a beautiful art journal page.
The netting stamp is really versatile and has loads of potential. But this time around I used it is a simple way to create a continues stamped background.

Step 1
Gather your stamp, art journal and VersaFine ink pad.

Step 2
Ink the stamp and start by stamping the design in the top middle with the tip pointing downwards.

Step 3
Stamp the second image below the first with the tip facing upwards and meeting in the middle.

Step 4
Continue stamping until the design has filled the page. Use the same stamping pattern and continue until you arrive happy with the look.

Step 5
Use two colours of Memento inks and add them too the packaging of the stamp. Mist the ink with water until it to become runny.

Step 6
Add colour to your background using a paintbrush and leave it to dry.

Step 7
Once you are happy with the look if the background, add embellishments and decorative elements.
There you have it, a full and creative look by using your stamp for repetition.
