Project Life fever is everywhere in the scrapbooking world. I am not a disciple yet BUT I thought I would try this different style of scrapbooking before I invested in all the plastic sleeves etc.
Fortunately, Kaisercraft already designs their papers to fit this style which made trying out a Project Life style layout so much easier. The Hopscotch range is such a quirky range, it worked perfectly.
I chose to do the layout in one of the styles the Project Life page protectors come in, that is 2 4×6 squares at the top, 4 3×4 squares in the centre and another 2 4×6 squares at the bottom. In order to fit them all on the 12×12 piece of cardstock I cut them all 1/8” of an inch smaller on 2 sides. In other words the 4×6 squares actually measure 3 7/8” x 5 7/8” and the 3×4 squares measure 2 7/8” x 3 7/8”.
The collectables, sticker sheet and rub ons made this layout come together in less than an hour. Give it a try, you will love it. SO easy!

Love Project Life. Am so hoping it will take off in SA, so that the vendors will start importing the various kits from Becky Higgins, Maggie Holmes, Dear Lizzy. Lots of lovely card kits out there.
