I think my most favourite colour ink ever since the beginning of time, apart from blue and red of course, must be Memento LUXE Peanut Brittle. This colour makes me so happy! It really is the perfect colour, not only for any theme and kind of project but as a neutral colour too.
Memento LUXE is also such an amazing ink for blending. Did you know that Memento LUXE is a mixed Media ink and is known for its superior blending qualities? Well now you do – and why not test it for yourself?
For this little teaser project, I created a resist technique using my Anna Griffin Matt Finish Texture Paste.
-
Step 1
Apply the texture paste through a stencil using a palette knife onto white cardstock. Leave the paste to dry thoroughly.
-
Step 2
Once the paste is dry, use a jumbo dauber or ink sweeper to pick up ink, and then blend it over your stencilled design. Use a damp cloth to wipe off the stencilled design. The texture paste will resist the ink. Then give a quick wipe with roller towel to make sure its dry.
Now use your design as part of a background for your next layout, card or art journal page.
How gorgeous is this colour? And how amazing does it look with the bright white stars in the background?
Hope you have fun with your next amazing Memento LUXE ink purchase, make sure you try the Memento LUXE Peanut Brittle.
