Who doesn’t love playing with inks and Mixed Media? I think everyone does now and again. For me it must include my favourite inks and throw in some new products from Little Birdie and life gets a whole lot more interesting and exciting.
I created this jumbo tag with a few Little Birdie Mixed Media products – and they all get the thumbs up from me! Take a look at how I incorporated these exciting Mixed Media products.
-
Step 1
Apply Mixed Media Paste through a stencil onto your tag and leave to dry.
-
Step 2
Mix a small amount of the Mixed Media Paste with All Purpose ink in the colour of your choice until you create a paint. You may need to add some water to it for a more liquid and workable paint.
-
Step 3
Paint your tag over the textured design and leave to dry.
-
Step 4
Instead of applying the Sparkle Paste through a stencil, I used a paint brush and brushed the paste over my orange painted tag. The paste will give the paint a nice sparkly layer with some texture. Leave to dry.
-
Step 5
Add some walnut ink crystals and mist with water to create additional colour.
Add flowers and other elements to decorate the tag once your ink Is dry. Add white paint splatters, silver and gold details using All Purpose inks ink silver and gold and some charms for a beautifully mixed media tag.
