I love creating quick and easy tags for the Festive Season and this year I am loving the gold and black theme inspired by the gorgeous First Noel range from Kaisercraft. I created this tag using some mixed media elements in shades of gold.
-
Step 1
Mix some Gold Delicata reinker into Mixed Media Paste to create a gold paste and apply it through a tree stencil directly onto your tag using a palette knife.
-
Step 2
While the paste is still wet lightly sprinkle with gold glitter. Shake off the excess and let the paste dry.
-
Step 3
Once the paste is dry, use gold Brilliance ink and Copper Delicata ink with a jumbo dauber to ink around the edges of your tag. This gives a beautiful shimmering finish to your tag and takes away that ugly manilla colouring.
-
Step 4
Use foam tape to adhere a selection of elements from the Collectables pack to your tag.
-
Step 5
Add some gold diamante to finish off your tag and add some dimension to the paper die-cut element.
-
Step 6
Colour a piece of ribbon using gold Delicata ink and some walnut ink crystals. Tie the ribbon into a bow once its dry and there you have a gorgeous tag for gift giving this festive season.
