I have all of a sudden fallen in love with flowers again. You know how everything comes full circle, and that is so true with flowers. And since I have a love hate relationship with them, I am pleasantly surprised about how much I love these little blooms again.

I know that I am a flower snob, I LOVE soft and gorgeous blooms with dimension for altered projects, but for layouts and cards I am loving the Little Birdie blooms that are not so dimensional – they are dainty and flat.

I combined some of the beautiful new Floral café flowers with the Floral Café flowers and then added some Jewelled Florettes in between. The colours, textures and patterns work perfectly together and compliment the Prima patterned papers so beautifully too.

The soft blooms offered the much needed softness on my backdrop. Combined with the stamped images, small scattered embellishments and other stamped elements like the hearts, these flower blooms are perfectly delicate making for a real girly girl layout.

Now to get my hands on more of these small little gems – new and fresh these little flowers have become my best friends. And in shades of every colour under the sun, I am sure I won’t find it hard to get a flower on every project I tackle.
