Creating embossed effects is easy, but adding loads of interest can be a little tricky. Today I am showing you how you can create both in a few easy steps by using a variety of my favourite products from The Wholesaler.
I combined texture paste with heat embossing and finished off the shimmer with some more shiny products, let’s take a look…

Step 1
I used a piece of scrap cardstock that had some colour on it already. Apply some texture with a white finish through a stencil.

While the texture paste is still wet add gold and silver embossing powder to the paste.

Step 3
Instead of waiting for the paste to dry underneath, use a heat gun and melt the powder. The texture paste will dry underneath and cause some bubbling – this will relax or can be pressed flat once the paste is cooled down a bit.

Step 4
Add some colour by blending 3 different colours of Memento LUXE mixed media ink onto the cardstock and over the embossed pattern.

Step 5
Once you are happy with the inking, add some shiny effects using Liquid Drops 3D Pearls. Add gold onto the background and smear it around the raised pattern using your fingers.

Step 6
Then use blue and silver liquid drops and add more colour and shine to the background. The Liquid Drops blend beautifully into the background giving the textured and embossed areas even more definition.
Creating texture with heat embossing and texture paste is easy – defining the beautiful textured you created can be achieved in a variety of ways, but the Liquid Drops 3D Drops add a beautiful shimmer and finishing touch that will have you swooning over it for days to come.
