Kaisercraft launched two gorgeous Christmas ranges in September. Yuletide is the one I used to make this really cute Rosette style Christmas tree which will make a lovely decoration anywhere in the home. I was inspired by a picture on the cover of a paper crafting magazine and had to try and make one.
Using the Silhouette CAMEO made this super quick to put together.
I used the rosette from Design ID #32781 in the store but made a tiny alteration to it. I cut it in half between the scallops. The reason for this was that on some of the larger sizes I cut they would extend past the 12” mat so I chose to cut two and join them.
I used a hot glue gun to assemble the rosettes by cutting 2x 1.5” circles per rosette. One for the top and the bottom.
The rosettes were cut at a height of (11 rosettes in total): 1.25”, 1.375”, 1.5”, 1.625”, 1.75”, 1.875”, 2”, 2.125”, 2.25”, 2.375” & 2.5”
Close up each rosette, hot glue the circles to the centre of the top and the bottom. Then starting with the biggest, glue each one on top of the other. The centrepiece at the top was created with Design ID #40619, #40799 & #34961.
I hope you enjoyed this project. The Silhouette CAMEO is a fantastic addition to your crafting tools and you will be amazed at what it can do. Get one SOON! Combine this amazing tool with the picture perfect Kaisercraft collections and you have a winner!
