hello CARDS in 10 minutes – How To With Jowilna

With the new range of Lady Pattern Paper hello CARDS, I can literally create cards even quicker than before. I like making ten-minute cards for people who I am not convinced will appreciate my efforts or who will just shrug and chuck the card away – yes you know the type. So here’s how to make some quick, beautiful cards.

Step 1

Cut the hello CARDS Green Chartreuse paper in half lengthwise.

Step 2

Fold the 12×6” piece in half to form a square card 6×6”. You can either use the card as is or make a smaller card like I did.

Step 3

The patterned paper squares make for an interesting card even on the inside.

TIP: To add a simple sentiment stamp something in black ink or add a white card liner where you can stamp, print or write a message on.

Step 4

The strips cut off of the side of my card to make it smaller (4×6”) is used on the front of the card as part of my decorations.

Add a stamped image, sentiment and some decorative elements like sewing, buttons and diamantes to the front of your card to finish it off.

And there you have quick ten minute cards for a gift, for friends, or create a stack of these cards for someone in an old age home who is in need of some spoiling. Even a ten minute card using this beautiful and cheery paper will warm the heart of someone. These papers are also perfect for cutting up and using the designs on the front of a white or coloured cardstock card.
