With father’s day around the corner, the question is always what to get dad as a little gift? Well, what about something functional so he can keep his thoughts and his life organised.

I created some fun notepads with a variety of products. Notepads are something that we all use – young and old, male and female. And best of all is that they can be made using scraps, the kids can help decorate them and they are within everyone’s budget as most of the supplies are things that you have in your stash or can easily recycle. So if you need to make something and are pressed for time then you can quickly whip up a notepad or two.

Adhesive Tip

When making your Fathers Day notepads, you will need a really strong adhesive to get the paper bonded to the chipboard for a permanent bond when creating the covers. For the task at hand I used the Super Stik Permanent Glue stick by Thermoweb. These nifty little glue sticks enables you to open them using one hand only which is a plus point when you are multitasking. They truly have a permanent bond making it perfect for book binding and creating other projects requiring glue sticks as an adhesive. To get your hands on this superb adhesive ask your local retailer.
