This Easter I am creating beautiful little displays around the house using things I already have. This candle is displayed with a beautiful flower wreath in pastels, but instead of using real flowers, I added some paper flowers to a vine wreath for a simplistic and long lasting effect.
Such a quick way of dressing up something to match a theme or event.
-
Step 1
Gather a wreath, paper flowers, palette knife and 3D matte gel.
-
Step 2
Use your palette knife to lift small amounts of gel and place it onto the wreath directly.
-
Step 3
Press the flowers into the matte gel and let dry.
TIP: you can always combine the flowers with plastic eggs, pearls, beads and even small little chicks. The possibilities are endless.
For now my Easter candle display will stay clean and simple with the flowers only, and maybe some fresh greenery tucked into it on Easter Sunday.
More importantly, I am using what I have and making something really pretty and meaningful. Here’s wishing you a wonderful and peaceful Easter filled with lots of love.
