Can anything be easier than cutting custom elements on your Cricut Maker? I don’t think so. When I created this piece of Yupo paper filled with gorgeous colour using my Couture Creations Alcohol Inks it wasn’t with a plan. It was pretty and that was fine. The piece of Yupo was lying on my desk and I just wanted to cut something, so onto Design Space I went and found this simple design.
How to:
I used the Photo Paper setting for my 200gsm Yupo paper from Couture Creations. The Maker cut it once and it was the most perfect and clean cut ever. Then of course, I made some cards …
Step 1
For my first card I used the smaller cuts to create a visual impact.
Step 2
Then for the next card, I simply used the inners from the cuts. I loosely placed the cut onto my card and then added Tombow glue to the back of each smaller inner piece and adhered them in place, before removing the cut piece. This way I could stretch my cards even further.
Step 3
Using both the positive and negative elements of these cuts makes for double the fun.
