Be Creative with your Cutting Dies

“Do you sometimes look at some of your supplies and just love them, but not for the purpose they were intended for? That is the great thing about all the products I have – I can use them in several different ways, pushing the boundaries and just creating for the fun of it. ” ~ Jowilna Nolte

I used this Couture Creations Corner Butterfly Mini Die and created a card background. You could get a similar effect with a wide range of cutting dies.

I simply cut the die four times out of white cardstock. I then cut a patterned paper square and adhered the cut corners to the square for a coloured background that the white butterflies sit on.

I then adhered my work to a folded card and finished it off with a sentiment and a butterfly from the Kaisercraft Amethyst paper range.

Such a simple idea of how to use your cutting dies in a different way and to create something interesting.
