I have always loved creating cards with the Bargello effect – using little strips of paper mixed up to create a new look. So fun and easy to do but with stunning end results.
For this card I created my background and finished it off with a gorgeous rub-on flower from Rosie’s Studio as well as a stamped sentiment. Scroll down to see how I created it.
Step 1:
Stamp a sentiment using your Rosie’s Studio Daisy Chain stamp set and VersaFine ink pad onto a small strip of white cardstock.
Step 2:
Create a background using your Couture Creations Alcohol Inks. Once dry cut the background into small thin strips.
Step 3:
Adhere the strips in a random fashion onto a background piece using double sided tape. Then adhere the piece to your folded card.
Step 4:
Use your bonefolder to transfer the rub-on onto the colourful background.
Step 5:
Ink the edges of your sentiment using VersaMagic ink and adhere in place. Finish off your card with some diamante.
