I love this range of Kaisercraft paper, but to add something special I created a special cut file for the silhouette that perfectly complements this range. I cut this ‘alphabet stack’ using my Silhouette out of one of the papers in the range to perfectly match my layout.
Here’s how I created my cut file
-
Step 1
Select the alphabet tool and type a letter.
-
Step 2
Select the font that you want to use and change the font.
-
Step 3
Type all the letters you want to add and overlap them as desired. I even flipped some of them to lay on their sides. Weld the letters together.
-
Step 4
To make sure that the letters welded correctly add a colour fill. Red is usually a good indication. Once you are happy with the welding you are ready to cut.
-
Step 5
Cut your alphabet stack out of patterned paper and adhere it to your mixed media created background for a fun effect.
This alphabet stack is perfect for back to school layouts too.
