Last week I showed you how to use this same texture netting stamp from 49 and Market to create a beautiful stamped background for my art journaling. This week I am sharing 2 more ways using this same stamp.

For my first card I used the stamp as is to create a beautiful and colourful image on a card.

• Step 1

  Stamp the image onto a folded white card using VersaMark Ink. Sprinkle the stamped image with white or clear embossing powder and shake off the excess. Heat set the embossing powder using a heat gun until the powder is fully melted.



• Step 2

  Use your Prima watercolour paint to colour in each section of the image. I used different colours for each little section, and even let some of the colour blend into the next for some added interest.



• Step 3

  Keep colouring until the entire image has been painted. The white/clear embossing powder resists the coloured paint and makes the colour stand out even more. Leave the paint to dry and then add a stamped sentiment and a coloured flower to finish off your card.

For my second card, I used the stamped and embossed image to punch small circles and use them as the inside stamen portion of flowers. The image reminds me of the inside of a sunflower on a larger scale, and so I added the circles to the centre of a paper flower for a fun and interesting look.

• Step 1

  Colour the embossed image using yellow paint.

• Step 2

  Leave to dry and then punch into a small circle and layer on a paper flower.



• Step 3

  Finish off your card with a quick stamped sentiment.
