How exciting is the prospect of owning a CAMEO!
Since the New CAMEO has just been released, I very much doubt that there will be many stores running specials on that version of the machine. However, you will possibly be seeing many specials on the older model.
We do not know which stores carry what stock at any given time. The best advise I can give you is to contact the stores nearest to you. The other option is to try the online store locator here » http://bit.ly/craft-stores-online Most of the online stores have an easy search function and they can deliver to your door.

Does the Silhoette also do embossing?

No the CAMEO does not emboss.
There is some talk on-line about attachments, or future developments about embossing for the CAMEO, but nothing along these lines have been confirmed by Silhouette.

Hi there, I was wondering if you could advise me in which machine would be better. I make paper flowers and need to cut multiple petals at a time. Cutting one page at a time will be quite time consuming and I am trying to cut down on cutting petal templates by hand. Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

It is a really hard decision that we get asked about so often! Both Silhoutte machines are amazing. Have you taken a look at Jowilna’s workspace review (http://bit.ly/1LRheV2)? At the bottom of the post there is a very simple comparison which might be helpful to you. Basically one can see that the Curio has more features, but the CAMEO has a bigger cutting area.
Do you have a free standing embossing machine? This is maybe something to consider, how often do you emboss and would that function on the Curio benefit your flowers?
