Merry & Bright \u2013 a colourful Christmas<\/h2>\n

Are you in the mood for something a little different this Festive Season? Well then you are in the right place. I love how they have incorporated beautiful designs into these economical paper pads that can be used for layouts, cards and tags. You literally get so much you can use all in one place \u2013 all you have to do is select a colour scheme and start creating.<\/p>\n

Merry Christmas Reindeer Card<\/h3>\n

For this card I chose the Jolly Christmas Paper Pad \u2013 I love this colour scheme \u2013 it basically incorporates traditional but bright and modern. I used the paper pad to create my background and then added a die-cut element using my Cricut machine as a focal point.<\/p>\n

I used American Crafts<\/a> textured cardstock to die-cut my reindeer and loved how clean the cuts were on this cardstock. I used the same colours incorporated in the papers to create it and love the bright and funky look it created in the end.<\/p>\n

To add to the versatility of the paper pads, Couture Creations<\/a> have a huge selection of new embossing folders available. The designs are just as fresh and hip as the paper designs. I love this particular design \u2013 it reminds me of the beautiful signs and blackboard images available these days.<\/p>\n

I embossed the image twice on white cardstock and then inked the raised areas using two different dye ink pads. I then cut one design apart and layered it on top of the first embossed image for dimension. These embossing folders are just so versatile, and I can\u2019t wait to play with the rest of the designs more. They enable you to make something plain and simple, classic, elegant or funky \u2013 whatever the occasion you can create it!<\/p>\n
