Are you in search for the cutest ever baby boy and girl paper \u2013 look no more! American Crafts has just hit our shelves with the new Studio Calico Storytime range of goodies. The designs, soft colours and beautiful accent stickers are simply irresistible for any toddler or baby scrapbooking page.<\/h3>\n

Love you to the moon and back!<\/h2>\n

First off I created a double page layout with a twist. I wanted to use bits and pieces of the beautiful papers to show them off, so I cut ovals out of my cardstock using my Cricut Expressions 2 machine. I did them randomly as I wanted space to play with different elements as well as sewing \u2013 so having them in a straight line wasn\u2019t a priority. Then I backed the ovals with the patterned papers and added some sewing around the ovals in a random fashion.<\/p>\n

\"Baby<\/a><\/p>\n

I used a selection of buttons, diamante, pearls, punched flowers and accent stickers from the Storytime range scattered across the top half of my layout as decoration. In between the ovals I also embossed a dragonfly image using embossing powder from American Crafts in matching colours. I love how the embossing adds texture to the background but because the colours matched so perfectly it in no way competes with the patterned papers or other elements on the background. As an accent colour I used red to pick up the red icing on the little boys\u2019 nose. A red button, cardstock for matting and a red felt heart was used as part of my accent colour range.<\/p>\n

To further draw attention to my main photo in the middle of the layout, I added a punched border and a sheet of 6×6 patterned paper from the Storytime paper pad behind the photo. A strip of glitter tape repeated on either side of the layout adds a bit of bling and lets your eye follow through from left to right.<\/p>\n
