It has a vintage feel to it and the reds and greens are so rich. I decided to use it to make a home d\u00e9cor piece that I can hang up at Christmas time.<\/h3>\n<p>I used a chipboard shadow box that I bought at a local store and covered and decorated it with a selection of the St Nicholas papers. I then mimicked the hanging ornaments on the paper and covered some chipboard pieces with papers and added some of the pieces from the collectables. Kaisercraft pearls accented the ornaments perfectly. I live in a beautiful suburb in Sydney, NSW, with my husband and 3 amazing sons. Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, we have been living in Australia for almost 3 years. I started my relationship with paper crafting back in 2007, firstly with card making and then I ventured into scrapbooking. I recently started working at a local scrapbook store which is incredible. I am most passionate about off the page projects, pushing the limits with what paper can do. I enjoy cardmaking very much and dabble in the occasional layouts but mini albums and off the page projects are what make me \u201ctick\u201d. Recently I have been dabbling in a bit of mixed media but still have a long way to go. I am so grateful to all the incredibly talented people all over the world who have so unselfishly shared their knowledge with us al. I have gained so much knowledge and techniques through their blogs and tutorials. Papercrafting is an amazing hobby, through which we can feed our souls and meet wonderful people.
