It makes an image come to life and brings a certain kind of appeal to an otherwise lifeless image. And that\u2019s exactly what the 3D Decoupage images can bring to crafts \u2013 a new kind of appeal to cards, scrapbooking and altered projects.<\/h3>\n<p>Of course the new docrafts Gorjuss images become just so much cuter when they are 3D and that is what I would like to show you today. Unless you have done one of these 3D images you can\u2019t really appreciate what they do for these amazingly artsy images of little miss Gorjuss\u2122. So here\u2019s how you go about building a 3D image in a few easy steps&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"media\" ref=\"magnificPopup\" href=\"http:\/\/www.thewholesaler.biz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Gorjuss-3D-Altered-Book.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thewholesaler.biz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Gorjuss-3D-Altered-Book.jpg\" alt=\"Gorjuss\u2122 - 3D Altered Book\" class=\"gallery_full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3>Step 1<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Select your image \u2013 this will be in the form of a base image printed on cardstock.<br \/>\n<a rel=\"media\" ref=\"magnificPopup\" href=\"http:\/\/www.thewholesaler.biz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Gorjuss-3D-Step-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thewholesaler.biz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Gorjuss-3D-Step-1.jpg\" alt=\"Gorjuss - 3D Step 1\" class=\"gallery_full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3>Step 2<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Gather the matching 3D images with which to build the dimension onto your base image.<br \/>\n<a rel=\"media\" ref=\"magnificPopup\" href=\"http:\/\/www.thewholesaler.biz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Gorjuss-3D-Step-2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thewholesaler.biz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Gorjuss-3D-Step-2.jpg\" alt=\"Gorjuss - 3D Step 2\" class=\"gallery_full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3>Step 3<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Carefully pop out the images on the 3D sheet.<br \/>\n<a rel=\"media\" ref=\"magnificPopup\" href=\"http:\/\/www.thewholesaler.biz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Gorjuss-3D-Step-3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thewholesaler.biz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Gorjuss-3D-Step-3.jpg\" alt=\"Gorjuss - 3D Step 3\" class=\"gallery_full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3>Step 4<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The images are clearly marked for your convenience so you know exactly which image to add next. There are usually 3 bigger parts to the image and then some smaller parts.<br \/>\n<a rel=\"media\" ref=\"magnificPopup\" href=\"http:\/\/www.thewholesaler.biz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Gorjuss-3D-Step-4.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thewholesaler.biz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Gorjuss-3D-Step-4.jpg\" alt=\"Gorjuss - 3D Step 4\" class=\"gallery_full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3>Step 5<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Add foam squares or tape to the back of the images you are going to use to add the dimension to the base image with. You can use foam tape or glue dots depending on the thickness you want to achieve.<br \/>\n<a rel=\"media\" ref=\"magnificPopup\" href=\"http:\/\/www.thewholesaler.biz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Gorjuss-3D-Step-5.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thewholesaler.biz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Gorjuss-3D-Step-5.jpg\" alt=\"Gorjuss - 3D Step 5\" class=\"gallery_full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3>Step 6<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For the second layer I used pop dots that were slightly thinner than my first layer of foam squares. This is because I wanted the layer to be slightly lower. This is of course your choice and creative freedom.<br \/>\n<a rel=\"media\" ref=\"magnificPopup\" href=\"http:\/\/www.thewholesaler.biz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Gorjuss-3D-Step-6.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.thewholesaler.biz\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/Gorjuss-3D-Step-6.jpg\" alt=\"Gorjuss - 3D Step 6\" class=\"gallery_full\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3>Step 7<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Add the last layer to the image. I started off my career in retail working in a paper shop importing handmade speciality papers from japan, Canada, India and America. We also imported a range of rubber stamps (PSX), along with Ranger Products, and Tsukineko to mention a few. This was all back in 2000. I moved to the wholesale part of the business and got involved in window dressing and opening a second flagship store for the company while the owners were overseas. I have travelled extensively to America visiting CHA and Frankfurt Germany to their biggest paper trade show \u201cPaperworld\u201d where I gained valuable knowledge regarding the industry. After a whirlwind love affair with the business I headed off into the sunset to fulfil my second dream by working in publishing. I started off as Technical Editor on a scrapbooking magazine and worked on several other craft publications in the company as well. But this was not enough \u2013 after a long journey I started my own scrapbooking magazine, which transformed into writing a real book book as opposed to a magazine book, and the rest is history. I am currently a best-selling author in the craft industry with my book \u201cScrap-Boek\u201d being the fourth best seller in South Africa and currently in second print. I am a freelance artist doing work for various companies such as Caxton Magazines that includes Rooi Rose and Bona Magazine to mention a few. I travel regularly to various shows teaching and presenting lectures on scrapbooking, card-making and creativity. I have been published several times in American publications such as Taken Ten Magazine, Catch Up Issue \u2013 both Somerset Publications. I was also asked to be a guest artist by Taken Ten Magazine for one of their issues in which an entire article was dedicated to my work. In December 2011, I made my television debut by presenting Christmas Crafts on 3 Talk with Noeleen. After a bit of a sabbatical with my on-line classroom website Scrapcouture, we are busy revamping it with a fresh new approach to bringing creativity and new techniques to people all over the world. I started off my career in retail working in a paper shop importing handmade speciality papers from japan, Canada, India and America. We also imported a range of rubber stamps (PSX), along with Ranger Products, and Tsukineko to mention a few. This was all back in 2000. I moved to the wholesale part of the business and got involved in window dressing and opening a second flagship store for the company while the owners were overseas. I have travelled extensively to America visiting CHA and Frankfurt Germany to their biggest paper trade show \u201cPaperworld\u201d where I gained valuable knowledge regarding the industry. After a whirlwind love affair with the business I headed off into the sunset to fulfil my second dream by working in publishing. I started off as Technical Editor on a scrapbooking magazine and worked on several other craft publications in the company as well. But this was not enough \u2013 after a long journey I started my own scrapbooking magazine, which transformed into writing a real book book as opposed to a magazine book, and the rest is history. I am currently a best-selling author in the craft industry with my book \u201cScrap-Boek\u201d being the fourth best seller in South Africa and currently in second print. I am a freelance artist doing work for various companies such as Caxton Magazines that includes Rooi Rose and Bona Magazine to mention a few. I travel regularly to various shows teaching and presenting lectures on scrapbooking, card-making and creativity. I have been published several times in American publications such as Taken Ten Magazine, Catch Up Issue \u2013 both Somerset Publications. I was also asked to be a guest artist by Taken Ten Magazine for one of their issues in which an entire article was dedicated to my work. In December 2011, I made my television debut by presenting Christmas Crafts on 3 Talk with Noeleen.
