When you love your inks as much as I do, then running out of a specific colour is an absolute train smash. It\u2019s a little like a 2-year-old throwing a tantrum in the middle of a store and they don\u2019t realise that it\u2019s really not that bad. In my case it was when I ran out of Walnut ink crystals \u2013 my go to for anything and everything.<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>

But luckily the tantrum only lasted a few seconds and I made a plan.<\/p>\n

Because I know how inks will react, I could recreate the effects and colour of walnut ink crystals almost to a T with things I did have on hand. My trusty All-Purpose inks!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

I used old papers that I needed to colour. Lightly misted them with water. Then add some Lemon Yellow and Truffle All-Purpose inks with a pipette and misted with more water. I did this all over a plastic tray and let the ink drip off the paper.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Eventually, I just started dipping the papers into the ink collected in the tray, lifted them up and then placed them on my craft sheet to dry.<\/p>\n

The mixed yellow and brown ink created the perfect light brown ink that mimicked my favourite walnut ink crystal brown.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
