I have publicly admitted that I have a love-hate relationship with flowers. Oh, and that I am a flower snob. They must be pretty, soft and amazingly girly. This week I am sharing how I used my Little Birdie flowers, coloured with mists, to suit a specific background and then grabbed one of my favourite stamps to make an additional card just because.<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>

I pulled apart some of the pretty white flowers to make some smaller flowers and then used spray inks in red and pink to add colour to the flowers. So quick and easy and a perfect match to my background paper I created myself.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

The flowers coloured so well and looks amazing against any background. Because I also like smaller flowers, I literally take the bigger flowers apart to make my own smaller flowers.<\/p>\n

I also die-cut some leaves in paper scraps and added them underneath the flowers. A few ink splats, a stamped sentiment and diamante finishes off the card.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

I loved the colours I was using for the first card and so this card just naturally happened.\u00a0 I embossed the flower in clear powder onto white cardstock, then inked over it using 3 different ink colours to create the coloured resist effect.<\/p>\n

So, the moral of the story is that I always use 2 or more colours \u2013 whether I combine spray inks, ink pads for blending, markers \u2013 no matter what \u2013 2 or more colours is best.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
