With themed die-cuts making waves in the crafting world being creative has become so much easier. No surprise then that I was inspired by the beautiful nautical dies by Couture Creations to create a fun fisherman\u2019s cottage \u2013 a little dream get-away from home \u2013 just to escape the everyday…<\/h3>\n

I used a pre-made kit of the little house but add some fun decorative elements to make this skeleton a beautiful worn and homely abode.<\/p>\n

I started off by adding texture paste through a wood-grain stencil. The entire outside was painted in a dark brown acrylic paint. The fun starts with the roof construction.<\/p>\n
