I know a lot of cardmakers sometimes battle to make male themed cards, for me I think the idea is to keep it simple. But my real winning approach is to keep the same approach I have when making any other card \u2013 just transform it by changing the papers, colours and focal points to something, well a little more manly.<\/h3>\n

For these cards for guys I actually used a real girly paper pad, but by combining the right paper designs with some manly die-cuts from docrafts I was able to create some fun boyish cards for the guys in my life.<\/p>\n

What really helped is those wonderful die-cuts from docrafts, and although they work perfectly for dad, they are meant for any of guy from young to old.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s what I did with my cards…
\nI wanted to combine different colours into my die-cuts, so I used at least two colours of papers on each die-cut for a fun shadow or filler idea.
