I had some time to test, experiment and just play with the new KAISERmists shimmer mist. I wanted to create different effects so I chose some of my favourite colours to experiment with and see what end results I could achieve.
The moral of the story is play and experiment and see what you can achieve, then commit them to your cards and other projects to recreate the same or more-or-less the same end result.
I sprayed Lavender over most of my circle, then Turquoise on one side and covered most of the surface with white. I love the softness the white brings to the colour. And then added a couple of Lime fingerprints just for fun.
I sprayed the circle with Lime heavily so that the mist puddled on the cardstock. I then dropped Lime, Denim, Lavender drops on top. Initially, it created the most amazing marble effect and I hoped that the heat gun would have kept that stunning effects, but it disappeared. I suspect it may be the type of watercolour paper I used and that a smooth technique cardstock would keep the pattern better.
Turquoise and Lime sprayed onto the circle and then heavily misted with white on top. It really blotted out the colour beautifully and created the most amazing silver shimmer on top of the colour. Simply stunning.
Lime sprayed down the side, then turquoise and lavender on either side. Then misted with white.
Tons of turquoise and denim and then white on top. The 2 colours seemed to disappear into each other with only a slight line where there meet that you can tell its two colours.
Lime, and Turquoise and then Gold Shimmer splatted on top. This is simply gorgeous, and I loved how the gold just reacted and kept the effect.
