Artiste Watercolour Paint Brushes

I love a good set of paint brushes in different sizes. This set of Artiste Watercolour Paint Brushes is amazing because it has so many different sizes and shapes in it – perfect for any need I may have.

I had fun just adding some water colour effects to a paper plate (inspired by Marlene van Niekerk) using this set of brushes.

I started off by mixing acrylic paint with water and painting a base coat. Once the base coat was dry, I added some colour using All-Purpose Inks.

After my 2 layers dried, I added some splats using gold API, white watercolour paint and some black watercolour paint.

A fun little exercise to see what these brushes could do and what mediums they handle really well. And I found that in most cases and most mediums, these brushes work really well for creating marks.
