Who Are We?

The Wholesaler was founded on 2 April 2006 by Liz Smith, grandmother, business owner and scrapbooker who saw the need for a reliable, local wholesale source of scrapbooking and craft products.

Liz fell in love with scrapbooking in 1996 when she was introduced to the hobby on a buying trip in the USA. Her initial love affair with photo albums began as a young mother with the beautiful memory albums she made for her daughters. Over the years Liz has created scrapbooks for many special people in her life including her Mother, daughters, friends and grand children.

Liz continues to share her love for scrapbooking with teenagers in her community, and now through us, with you.

Ink Sweepers – Jowilna’s Favourite Things

One of my favourite things in my stash are my ink sweepers from Tsukineko. These sweepers can make light work of just about any inky situation, but more than that they are truly versatile. I am currently using mine in my art journals for paint sweeping making light work of adding layers of paint onto my pages in a single sweep, and with no mess at all.   Step 1 Ink Sweepers are hugely compact and versatile making it easy to apply paints and inks to any surface. Use them to apply ink and paint through stencils for precision work. Step 2...

The latest range from Sue Smyth, Rambling Rose will spoil you with imagery to cut, trim and layer, many of which were hand drawn, some with very special memories of her own childhood. Embossing – How To With Jowilna

Silver linings…how to be creative even when you have almost no fancy products… People often complain about how they need something specific to do a certain thing. I say nonsense…if you have a creative mind and can do something with your hands, the sky is the limit! I created some beautiful cards with left-overs, typing paper and nothing fancy apart from my embossing powder and VersaMark ink pad…let’s take a look.   Step 1 I used paint and a roller on typing paper to create some interesting backgrounds. With the Silhouette CAMEO it is so easy to make amazing 3D flowers. No mess no fuss. But once you have a plain old flower what do you do…well add some personality! Altered Book Spread – Jowilna’s Advanced Class

I love using book paper in my projects, and what better than using an entire old book to create something beautiful. I used a spread in my old book to create an altered page – combined with stencilling, texture and All-Purpose Inks I create loads of interest. Step 2 On a sheet of white smooth cardstock add some more stencilling and then add colour using All-Purpose Inks. Leave the sheet to dry and then cut into small strips. Step 3 Adhere the...
